The Venerable Master Hua initiated Honoring Elders Day and Cherishing Youth Day in 1992. Each year, the City invites local senior citizens to a heartwarming celebration. The students and teachers at the City of 10,000 Buddhas put on a performance to welcome their special guests. The seniors have a healthy and scrumptious vegetarian luncheon.
